Mini Indy 2009

We had so much fun this last Saturday! Our friends Stephanie and Kraig Stowe invited us to go the the Mini Indy that is held every year in St. George (I didn't know this and I grew up here). Apparently this is huge. The people in these races come from all over the US... Kraig said last year they even had a team from China. We were able to walk around the pit area and look at all the cars and the drivers were so nice, they let the kids sit in them and take pictures. One guy even let JD and Logan (Stowe) drive while he pushed them around. We told Jac he could do that next year :) We even witnessed one of the drivers crash into the announcer as she tried to give him a double high five. Then she just took off.

Not so bad

Before his surgery, I imagined this huge ugly scar on Jac's chest and it would make me cry. So I was really suprised when all of his bandages came off and I saw this tiny little line. The Doctors say that in time it will really lighten up too.

Update...finally :)

So, I have been slacking a little, I am always taking pictures of Jac, I just feel like I don't have time to post them. So here are a few pictures of our little guy...who is rapidly growing. I took him to the doctors this week and he has gained 3 pounds since his surgery!! He is now 17 lbs 8 oz, which is awesome because where he was in the 1 percentile he is now in the 8th.








So I turned 28 a couple of weeks ago... wasn't so thrilled about that, but Jeremy made it a great day. He had hid a small gift around the house for every hour of the day. It was so sweet and thoughtful. He knows I can't stand suprises (let me clarify, I love suprises when they are just that, a suprise. If I know they are coming, I can't stand it!) So he thought it was funny when I would answer my phone on the first ring instead how I usually just let it go to voicemail. Anyway, it was a great day! I love you Jer!
